On the Global Table of Film on Dominican Soil

By Stalin Montero

The afternoon of 3/3 (third day/third session) of the Dominican Republic Global Film Festival in the FUNGLODE auditorium, the panel “Autodesk, Media and Entertainment, Digital Film” was inaugurated on Friday, November 20.

3D images, movements and sounds were the host themes of the meeting, which for over two hours served a banquet of cutting edge technology and innovation to lovers of multimedia platforms over the course of the day which was not exhausting but rather inexhaustible.

A collage of digital advances that served as raw material for structuring, revolution and diversification of forms and styles for producing film, television, Internet and other media was available.

The attitude of Miguel Rodríguez, Territory Sales Manager of Autodesk, Media and Entertainment (Autodesk -ME), made one feel like a fan of all dimensions and aspects of entertainment. He spent nearly 2 hours in the auditorium with the constant movement produced by the emotions of the participants.

Value Added

The creators of content and distribution of digital media of the well-known
Autodesk –ME spoke about the new forms of production as they showed how technological advances help to get better value from production with which one can follow and capture the interest of the public through any platform.

On the Cusp

The analysis of the new content of the television networks and entertainment companies, as well as electronic and virtual space that have made the Diaspora of the Internet remain in the vanguard in terms of technological readjustments, all form part of the indelible ink of the 3/3 event.
