After its screening, the film was the focus of a panel discussion.

On November 19th, the III Dominican Republic Global Film Festival celebrated the third edition of panel discussions which took place in the Eduardo Brito Room at the National Theater. The focus of the panel was the film P-Star Rising which had just been screened.
The panel's special guests were the director of the film, Gabriel Noble and its producer, Marjan Tehrani. The story's main character, Priscilla, better known as P-Star, was unable to attend due to health problems. So Noble asked the audience to record a memento for the young girl and yell "Thank you, Priscilla" as he recorded from the stage.
The schools attending the panel discussion were: Camano Colombian Polytechnic, Gregory Luperón School, New Horizons Bilingual School, Santa Ana Parochial Polytechnic, San Vicente de Paul High School, Taiwan High School, República de Colombia Center of Excellence, Cristo Obrero Polytechnic, Argentina Lara Vespertina High School, Francisca Rogers Byron, Socorro Sánchez Day High School, Nueva Luz School, Espaillat Adventist High School, and Cardenál Sánchez School.
The film P-Star Rising follows the real story of a very talented nine-year-old rapper and her family and the obstacles they face in her rise to stardom.
The film required the director and producer to follow the life of the family over a five-year period, said Noble. "I hope that she will become a star, but when she is older," he admitted.
Likewise, after answering the students' questions, the director staged a talent show in which the two students who he deemed the best singers
