From Academy Award nominees Jacques Perrin and Jacques Cluzaud (WINGED MIGRATION) comes a miraculous documentary that takes the viewer into the depths of the some of the world’s most beautiful oceans where no man has gone before. The wonders of the sea are uncovered as well as the unique and endangered species that live in it.
Shot on location in places like the Atlantic Ocean, the Indian Ocean, the Arctic Ocean, the Pacific and the Antarctic Ocean just to name a few; the film portrays the oceans of the earth as their own wonderful worlds filled with mysteries and distinctive characteristics. Jellyfish, baby turtles and a variety of other animals are used to tell the compelling story of how fragile life for marine animals has become.
Four years in the making, Disney Nature films bring us one of the most convincing and artistic films based on the actual realities of our planet. There are unbelievable sequences of beauty and greatness that are put in contrast against men’s poor ecological judgment and the cruelty of nature itself.
Narrated by Pedro Amendáriz jr. in Spanish, OCEANS is a treasure of a film that should not be left buried in the sea; the cycle of life which once started in our oceans needs to find a balance between today’s world, its people, and the animals that live within it.
