(Santo Domingo, September 30, 2012) - The world renowned filmmaker and director of photography and expert in HD DSLR cameras, Phillip Bloom will visit the country for the first time to give a series of specialized workshops.
Bloom, a member of the new generation of digital filmmakers, has recently become one of the evangelists of using HD digital cameras to achieve the same “look” as high budget film cameras.
In his 20 years with such outlets as the BBC of London and Lucas Films with director George Lucas, Bloom has made many films, the most recent being Red Tails with the Canon 5d Mark II.
During his visit to the country we will be offering the following workshops:
Attendees can learn in an open atmosphere that will allow for interaction and questions on a variety of topics related not just one specific camera or type of camera but rather how to apply techniques with the camera you own or have access to.
