Entries are now open for the First DRGFF Dominican Short Film Competition, of films directed and filmed by Dominicans in the Dominican Republic.
Accept the Rules and Regulations of this first competition
The short films must be a maximum of 15 minutes in duration.

Applications are open as of July 6 through September 18, 2009. The Dominican Global Film Festival reserves the right to change the entry application dates as well as the final selection date. + list of particpants
The Prize will be awarded to just one winner and will consist of a digital camera with a tripod, lights and microphone. There will be ten (10) honorable mentions for other films. The winning film and the ten honorable mentions will be viewed prior to the movies to be shown at the Film Festival in the various venues.
The selection, to take place on November 14, 2009, will be done by a jury comprised of Dominican as well as international film professionals.
