Surveying your options for distribution and establishing a clear set of goals for your film as early as the pre-production phase-are essential for your film's success. This workshop presents an overview of distribution worldwide, with a special focus on breaking into the US market. Creating an international festival strategy, theatrical, educational, broadcast, and home video/DVD distribution will be covered. Other topics include the role of sales agents, contracts, how to find a distributor, and the creation of promotional materials.
